Panasonic Lumix LX3 panorama

October 7, 2009

Panorama worksite

Went on a recce for an upcoming video shoot( my chance to use the Canon 5D Mark 2’s video features!) so I brought along the Lumix LX3 for some casual snaps of the surrounding area. Held the Camera in “portrait” orientation so I could get enough of the ground and sky to cater for the cropping that occurs with big panorama stitches. Stood in 1 place and took a series of about 8 pictures and stitched them together in PS. The key here is overlap! The more overlap, the better the blending/stitching. On a side note, the orange crane in the middle has been named Godzilla. The video shoot is actually of Godzilla tearing up the buildings on the left. Nice…..
