The best camera is the one thats with you. (In this case my Lumix LX3)
So I am reiterating the words of many photographers before me but I’ve never felt more strongly about it than after taking this panoramic shot of The Capella in Sentosa. The place looked great but the service unfortunately was crazy slow. Lucky for me I brought the LX3 along and decided to take some pictures while the waiters flew our freshly baked dessert in from Alaska. ( They MUST HAVE! ) The place was dark and the sky pretty much blackened out. Good thing was the availability of a ledge that overlooked the pools ! Propped the camera on the edge and shot 9 frames each overlapping the previous one by about 1/3 or more. Exposure was about 6 secs at F2 ( I know, small aperture, bigger depth of field.. yes yes.. I was being impatient! )
As for the actual merging? Easy ! Open PS then go File/automate/Photomerge/Get a drink or shower/Enjoy cool panoramic view !!

I cannot agree with you more! Having a trusty non-bulky camera with you at times can be a life saver for dull moments like that, and like your previous posts, great for recces! Awesome panos!
